  1. SAM Driver for TeleSensory PowerBraille
  2.  
  3. This is a fully functional SAM driver for use with a TeleSensory PowerBraille refreshable Braille display. It may also work with the Navigator, but this has not been tested.

  5. This driver can also be used with the RBT-40 display. Put the device into Powerbraille emulation mode (Mode 3 - Emul. 3)

  7. This driver uses the WIN32 Comms API to talk to the Braille display so will work in Windows 95 and NT, there is no 16-bit code.

  9. This driver only supports communication using the serial port(DCE).
  10.  
  11. Please report any bugs to Dolphin. If it crashes please tell us the crash address and registers etc, from the crash message box, also report the driver version number (check with explorer - file properties).

  19. The following lists the default keys to press for each Braille operation.
  20. Your screen reader may not support some of these operations.

  22. As the PowerBraille 40 and PowerBraille 65/80 have different key configurations, the keys for each display type are listed separately.

  25. Move to top left of window: Left rocker bar up + left button
  26. Move to bottom left of window: Left rocker bar down + left button
  27. Move to focus: Convex button
  28. Left edge of window: Right rocker bar up + left button
  29. Right edge of window: Right rocker bar down + left button
  30. MOve one line up: Right rocker bar up
  31. MOve one line down: Right rocker bar down
  32. Move left one character: Right rocker bar up + right button
  33. MOve right one character: Right rocker bar down + right button
  34. Read backwards: Left button
